Buizen Yachts are a small family company with a long and passionate history for building handcrafted blue water cruising yachts to the highest quality and capability.

We have been building our yachts in the same factory premises on Sydney's Northern Beaches since 1980.

The Buizen Pilot House yacht is recognized as one of the finest and most exclusive ocean going luxury cruising yachts available in the world today. Built in very limited numbers they are not a production line yacht nor are they built with a production line mentality.

Each yacht is individually crafted with an investment of up to 15,000 man hours over a 12 month construction time frame.

Built by craftsman and built to order, only 3 yachts are launched each year with the customer invited to become very much involved in the construction and decision making process.

Each yacht is able to be semi customised to each owner's requirement. The fibreglass hull, deck and small parts are either vacuum infused or hand laid in house using vinylester resins with triaxial and woven glass cloth.

All solid timber used in the fit-outs is milled in our factory and the joinery is constructed for each individual yacht by our own cabinetmakers and dedicated craftsmen. Many fittings such as the stainless steel componentry and deck fixtures are custom made for each and every yacht.

The unique Buizen Pilot House design affords a 360 degree wrap around vision from the luxurious saloon and internal helm position. There is a great sense of internal space within the yacht and unlike in a traditional yacht, there is no separation of areas (up on deck or down below) there is simply either outside or inside. This is confirmed by the line of sight and thus communication between the cockpit helm and forward stateroom.

The yachts are often referred to as a pocket super yachts given their design, quality of fit-out, accommodation, engineering and capability.
